September 6-8, 1825 Campsite of the Survey Team and the Ford of the Arkansas, near the Lower Crossing at the mouth of Mulberry Creek on the south side of the Arkansas River. This location is just north of Ford, Kansas. The marker is located on the south side of US 400 across from the entrance of the cattle feedlot.
