LOCATION: From the Site F-12 Marker, return north 6. mile, left 1 mile, left 4 miles, and right .4 mile to the marker on the right. The crossing is 320 yards southwest of the marker.

HISTORIC DESCRIPTION: Crossing of the Big Coon Creek on The Post-1859 Dry Route, a campsite on the stage company's route, the site of an outpost from Fort Larned established in 1867, and the location of a stage station built in 1863.
