Sawlog Creek Crossing on the Fort Hays/Fort Dodge Road. The dark line in the middle of the photo points to the crossing. The Crossing is in the tip of the highest point of the creek at the top of the photo. The marker is just off the photo on the north side of this crossing and is setting at the head of a cutdown for the crossing. I used this photo to show the ruts that continue to the south from the crossing. These ruts run from about one half mile north of this location to the marker to the south about four miles crossing pasture land that has no roads to view the ruts.
