Kansas Soldiers Home ruts one half mile north of Fort Dodge, Kansas. Multiple ruts approach the marker from the northeast across a virgin pasture leading to the entrance of present day Fort Dodge, Kansas. The marker is on the east side of the road on the south end of the ruts.
