Maps of the Santa Fe Trail
One of the most asked question we get through email is: "What is the length of the trail?" or "What is the mileage of the Santa Fe Trail taking both the Cimarron and Mountain route?"
In 1990 when the National Park Service surveyed the trail, they came up with these figures.
Mountain Route
Cimarron Cutoff
This information taken from the book "Santa Fe National Historic Trail Comprehensive Management and Use Plan" National Park Service, May 1990.
If you are looking for a special site, county, or a section of the Trail near you, let me know and we may have that section of the trail and a map for it. The maps on site now are rather simple in nature, but are maps of the Santa Fe Trail. If we can help just let me know! We can help with Topo maps of the Trail also.
