Duncan Crossing also known as Pawnee Fork Crossing on the Fort Hays/Fort Dodge Road, was the location of the George Duncan Trading Ranche. At this location was also a Toll Bridge and Lime Kiln. In this photo you are looking north, across the markers is the location of a large cutdown and ruts in the banks of the river.
