The Faye Anderson Award was presented to Leo and Bonita Oliva by the Wet/Dry Routes Chapter of the Santa Fe Trail at there Winter meeting in Kinsley, Kansas.

Leo and Bonita are from Woodston, Kansas, and are the editors of "Wagon Tracks" the quarterly publication of the national Santa Fe Trail. Leo & Bonita are authors of several books on the Santa Fe Trail and Forts in Kansas and New Mexico.

In June of 2001, Leo just about lost his best friend and counter part to a bike wreck near Haviland, Kansas. This is some of the story.
