Dear Fellow Member of the Santa Fe Trail,
On Friday, July 20, 1990, a meeting will be held in Offerle, Kansas, to determine if there is enough interest to form a local chapter of the Santa Fe Trail. This chapter would include, but not be limited to the areas that include the Wet Route and Dry Route of the Santa Fe Trail. The counties of Pawnee, Edwards and Ford would be the basis of this chapter, as well as neighboring counties or communities that would be interested in joining.
We hope that all present members of the Santa Fe Trail living in these counties, as well as other interested persons will make a special effort to attend this first organizational meeting. Please contact other persons that you feel may be interested and encourage them to attend, also.
The meeting will be held at St. Joseph's Hall in Offerle, Kansas beginning at 7:30 p.m. (Directions: From the main intersection, which is the cafe, go north 1 block, west 1 block and north 1/2 block. St. Joseph's Hall is on the west side of the street.)
If you have any questions, please contact one of the following:
We hope to see you there!
